About You & the Role

You are curious about financial markets and enjoy turning complex information into clear, meaningful insights. As a Research Associate, you will study Philippine equities, listed companies, and key industries to develop timely, credible research that supports sound investment decisions. You will also monitor local and global developments and assess their potential impact on companies and sectors.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct equity research and valuation of Philippine Stock Exchange-listed companies, prospective listings, and relevant sectors.
• Analyze company earnings, industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory issues.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and analysis.
• Produce investment research reports, quarterly earnings updates, and thematic research pieces.
• Prepare charts, presentations, briefing materials, and other research outputs.
• Present research findings and respond to questions from internal stakeholders and clients.

• Delivering accurate, credible, and timely research.
• Providing well-supported investment recommendations.
• Building reliable financial forecasts and valuation models.
• Covering relevant companies, sectors, and market developments.
• Communicating insights clearly through reports, presentations, and briefings.
• Producing research that stakeholders find useful and actionable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Capital Markets, Economics, or a related field.
• Preferably with 1–3 years of relevant experience, including sell-side or buy-side equity research.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in capital markets and finance; financial modeling experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with listed companies, major industries, basic economics, and market data sources is preferred.
• A postgraduate degree, CFA qualification, CFA Level II completion, or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
