The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is a non-stock, not-for-profit organization committed to raising corporate governance standards in the Philippines. Established in 1999 by Dr. Jesus P. Estanislao, the organization aims to professionalize corporate directorship in response to the lessons of the Asian financial crisis. As part of the Centers for Excellence in Governance (CEG), ICD is an accredited training institute by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Insurance Commission (IC), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG). The institute plays a vital role in fostering good governance practices and strengthening the corporate ecosystem in the country.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research and Development Manager, located in Makati. The R&D Manager leads the R&D team and oversees the planning, execution, and development of strategic research initiatives and corporate governance programs. This role ensures the quality, coherence, and impact of ICD's thought leadership content. The position requires a strong blend of leadership, research expertise, course development, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to ICD's strategic decision making through robust research insights. The R&D Manager is also directly involved in managing digital content, implementing and maintaining digital library systems, and guiding thought leadership to advance ICD's mission and vision.
