Research and Development Manager

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in BS Food Technology, Chemistry, or related courses

• Minimum of eight (8) years related work experience in a manufacturing organization
• With hands-on experience in product, package and/or process development
• Preferably with minimum two (2) years in managerial

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Manages and directs the research and development programs to meet organizational needs and capitalize on potential new products

2. Develops and implements research and development procedures and techniques

3. Oversees complex research projects, analyzes results and provides recommendations based on findings

4. Assesses the scope of research projects and ensures they are on time and within budget

5. Responsible for overseeing the entire development process of new products and programs from initial planning phase to implementation or production

6. Keep track of all the costs related to the creation of these new products and decide what ideas are worth pursuing

7. Informed on what is happening in the research and development field at large in order to make sure that our company is up-to-date with the most advanced R&D developments

8. Perform other tasks that may be required by Top Management
