The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is a non-stock, not-for-profit organization committed to enhancing corporate governance standards in the Philippines. Established in 1999 by Chairman Emeritus Dr. Jesus P. Estanislao, ICD aims to professionalize corporate directorship and promote excellence in governance practices. ICD is an accredited training institute by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Insurance Commission (IC), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG). As part of the Centers for Excellence in Governance (CEG), ICD plays a significant role in improving good governance standards in the corporate sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Makati. As Research Development Lead, you will spearhead the design, execution, and oversight of research and learning initiatives that advance ICD's thought leadership and institutional mandate.

You will lead governance research and course development, design strategic research frameworks, and ensure all outputs align with ICD's objectives. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, faculty, program committees, regulators, and partners to create research and courses that translate into impactful learning programs, publications, and policy insights.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in research, course development, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to design research methodologies and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders, faculty, and regulatory bodies.
  • Proven capability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Research, Public Policy, Governance, or a related field (advanced degree is an advantage).
  • Experience in corporate governance, regulatory policy, or board-level course development and research is highly desirable.
