Role Description:

The Research and Development Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bulacan. This role supports the development of new confectionery products and the improvement of existing formulations through laboratory experiments, product trials, and sensory evaluations. The R&D Assistant will assist in preparing samples, conducting tests, documenting results, and maintaining accurate records of formulations and procedures. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with production and quality teams, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and helping to troubleshoot product and process issues. The role also involves maintaining laboratory equipment, managing inventory of raw materials and reagents, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D department.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Research and Development (R&D) and Research, with the ability to design, execute, and document experiments.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of equipment, materials, and basic food science or chemistry procedures.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear reports or presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific or technical field preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and relevant regulatory standards is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bulacan and adapt to production schedules when needed.
