Research & Development (R&D) Specialist

As our Research & Development (R&D) Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing new ideas to life, from developing innovative products to continuously improving the quality, taste, and performance of our existing portfolio. What You'll Do
- Develop new fresh dairy products and premium ice cream from concept to launch.
- Improve existing products through formulation, testing, and process optimization.
- Research new ingredients, food technologies, and consumer trends to drive innovation.
- Conduct laboratory testing, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life studies.
- Lead product trials from the laboratory to pilot runs and full-scale production.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Marketing, and other teams to successfully launch new products.
- Ensure products comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare product specifications, technical documentation, and development reports.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Science/Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in dairy or premium ice cream production.
- Experience in product development, food formulation, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, or other food safety and quality systems.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing, shelf-life evaluation, and product validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Passion for food innovation and creating products that people genuinely enjoy.
