Responsibilities
- Review press releases, blogs, company filings, industry reports, web databases and regulatory filings to log relevant start-up activity in proprietary software.
- Rapidly analyze multiple documents for additional information, making comparisons against other sources and an internal database.
- Conduct data collection tasks within a specific dataset, extracting information on PE, VC, and M&A deals.
- Quickly grasp and apply methodology and processes consistently.
- Seek to improve quality and efficiency of daily and weekly performance metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement across all processes and tools.
- Enter data on new and existing startups, deals, people, funds, investors, and service providers across the entire start-up growth cycle.
- Monitor live user feedback on data quality and addresses them promptly.

Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Management BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- Experience in Data Analysis, Market Research/Research, Data Visualization is preferred.
- Keen interest and understanding of finance and capital market.
- Exposure to secondary market research, consultancy, and/or startup experience is preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Professional English communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong grammar with the ability to identify errors.
- Demonstrate reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing and flexible to work US EST working hours.
