This role is with an online reputation management agency. The company helps clients address unflattering online information, such as bad reviews, lawsuit write-ups, or unfavorable articles, and ensures accurate representation when people use AI assistants.

Role Summary
The Reputation Analyst will measure the effectiveness of online reputation management campaigns. This includes owning all reporting by analyzing search results, classifying sentiment, tracking changes month-over-month, and providing data to the account team for client reports. This part-time role requires precision and dependability.
Key Responsibilities
- Update client reputation trackers monthly by pulling search results, recording positions, and noting changes.
- Proactively flag concerning movement in search results (negative results climbing, positive results slipping).
- Deliver clean, verified reporting data for monthly client reports.
- Classify the sentiment (positive, negative, or neutral) of each search result.
- Review weekly alerts, verify new mentions, assess severity, and log new negative content.
- Run initial search audits for new clients and classify every result to establish a baseline.
- Set up new client reputation trackers and compile benchmark data packages.
- Run clients tracked phrases through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and assess their descriptions.
- Measure month-over-month changes in AI visibility against baselines and produce reports.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable using AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) as working tools.
- Confident with spreadsheets and maintaining clean, structured data.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in work.
- Strong judgment regarding online reputation impact.
Preferred Skills
- Background in reputation management, PR or communications, trust & safety, content moderation, or brand research.
- Familiarity with how search results work.
- Report-writing experience.
