Job Summary:

The Reports Specialist is responsible for the review and analysis of financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) , and external auditors. He/She will also ensure that the financial reports are in accordance with the existing regulatory accounting policies and practices.

Role Exposure:

• Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
• Monitors and reviews the monthly financial report templates of the Bank and various domestic and foreign subsidiaries for completeness and accuracy.
• Consolidates the financial statements including all the financial disclosures based on the report templates of the Bank and various subsidiaries.
• Reviews and compares previous financial data against current data in order to establish trends that are relevant or useful in variance analysis and verification.
• Reviews and performs a detailed analysis of the inter-company transactions of the Bank against its subsidiaries.
• Reviews and ensures the accuracy of the formula and ratios used in the financial reports.
• Ensures the updating of the SEC/PSE/ report template to conform to the prescribed reporting format for both financial statements and disclosure requirements.
• Ensures the accuracy and availability of the schedules as required by the external auditors, and other units of the Bank.
• Attends to the other reportorial needs of the Group and other units by coordinating with the units concerned on the generation of reports and formulating formats based on the requirements of the users.
• Assists in the monitoring and ascertaining overall compliance of the Group with the Bank's policies/procedures and with the circulars, letters and memoranda of various regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with the reporting requirements.
• Maintains and stores relevant data for future needs and supervises the proper safekeeping of files including those that were sent to Records Management Department for proper disposition.
• Assists the section head in the supervision of the Reports Analysts in the day-to-day generation and preparation of reports.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in external auditing of banks and/or banking operations is preferred
