To work with beat reporters/correspondents covering big breaking stories/special assignments and to develop specialization in various fields such as economics, politics, environment, science, foreign affairs, etc. Breaks in news in other platforms, writes/broadcasts for other platforms.
Education/Experience: College graduate major in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, any course/s related to Social Sciences and/or Liberal Arts. 2 to 3 years experience as a Reporter in print or in any Multimedia Platform.
Specific Knowledge: Communication Skills, Writing Skills, Interviewing Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Research Skills, Developing a process Nose for News with higher depthness level than Reporter 1. Exposure in multimedia platform.
Business Understanding: Must have a basic understanding of media laws and ethics especially those on accuracy and libel. Knows the fundamentals of Journalism, Understands social media as well as its rights and responsibilities.
