The Reports Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into accurate, timely, and actionable reports to support business decision-making. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, identify trends, and deliver insights that drive operational and strategic outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and automate regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
- Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and performance insights
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across reporting sources
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, HR, and other teams to define reporting requirements
- Create dashboards and visualizations using reporting and BI tools
- Validate data sources and reconcile discrepancies as needed
- Document report definitions, metrics, and processes
- Support leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or a related field
- Proven experience in reporting, analytics, or data analysis
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is an advantage
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to present data clearly
- Amenable to work onsite in Davao City and in the night shift
Preferred Skills
- Experience in operations, shared services, or BPO environments
- Ability to translate complex data into simple, meaningful insights
- Experience with automation and process improvement initiatives
