Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Repair & Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep, safety, and operational efficiency of all facilities and equipment across our restaurant operations. This role is critical in ensuring minimal downtime, compliance with food safety standards, and a seamless dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all repair and maintenance activities for stores, commissaries, and support facilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for kitchen equipment, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and projects
- Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and improvement areas
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruption
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and asset management
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support store openings and renovations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food, restaurant, or retail industry
- Strong knowledge of building systems, kitchen equipment, and preventive maintenance practices
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements on safety, sanitation, and compliance
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling multi-unit restaurant operations
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Background in cost control and budget management
