Role Overview
StaffHero is seeking an experienced US Registered Nurse with an active Massachusetts license to join our team as a Remote Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse. This role plays a critical part in supporting quality and compliance initiatives within home health care programs, ensuring clinical documentation integrity, regulatory adherence, and positive patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on home health experience, in-depth knowledge of OASIS documentation, and the ability to conduct detailed clinical audits in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical quality audits of home health documentation, plans of care, and patient records
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and payer-specific home health regulations
- Review OASIS assessments and clinical notes for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Identify documentation gaps and provide constructive feedback and quality improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and operations teams on quality initiatives and process enhancements
- Support readiness for internal audits, external surveys, and accreditation reviews
- Monitor adherence to clinical standards, company policies, and evidence-based care practices
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted USRN license (Massachusetts required)
- At least 23 years of recent Home Health clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of OASIS, Medicare home health guidelines, and care planning standards
- Experience in clinical documentation review, quality assurance, or utilization review
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR platforms and remote collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health QA, clinical auditing, or compliance roles
- Exposure to quality metrics monitoring and performance improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting multi-state home health operations
- Background in remote clinical case management or utilization review
