About the Role:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Structural Engineer with strong experience in New Zealand building and seismic codes. The ideal candidate will deliver accurate, compliant structural designs and documentation for residential and commercial projects while collaborating remotely with the NZ-based engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and reports aligned with NZS 1170, NZS 3101, and other relevant New Zealand standards.

• Design and analyze steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures for residential and commercial projects.

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure design integrity and compliance.

• Review and optimize designs for cost efficiency and constructability.

• Support project documentation and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in structural design for New Zealand projects.

• Strong knowledge of New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) and seismic design principles.

• Proficiency in STAAD, Revit, and AutoCAD.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
