As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of Homeowners Associations (HOAs). This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget preparation, audits, and providing excellent support to community managers, board members, and internal teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and update the chart of accounts as needed.
- Prepare and record journal entries with complete documentation.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile and balance accounts payable and receivable monthly.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statement packages.
- Lead preparation of annual budgets and ensure accurate forecasts.
- Support audits and reviews by coordinating with the auditor.
- Manage routine banking and investment transactions.
- Respond to accounting inquiries from managers, community board members, and internal teams.
- Represent the accounting team at board meetings (as needed).
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and US GAAP.

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Standard time: 1:00 am - 10:00 am Manila City time
- Daylight saving: 12:00 am - 09:00 am Manila City time
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Excel advanced.
- Understanding of US GAAP regulations.
- Prior experience with multiple business units/accounts, US client experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with CINC strongly preferred; CRM experience is a must.
- Is a plus: HOA/Property Management accounting experience.
