Position Summary
The Online Editor is responsible for post-production editing of Take Two's online courses and supporting creative content. This is a dedicated editing role with no on-set production, directing, shoot planning, or people management responsibilities.
Working from raw footage, shot lists, and creative briefs provided by the Head of Production, the Online Editor will produce polished, high-quality educational content while maintaining Take Two's creative, instructional, and brand standards. The role also supports the creation of marketing videos, teasers, social media content, and Student Success Stories.
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit online course content to a high standard of quality and instructional clarity.
- Transform offline edits into polished, on-brand final course lessons.
- Perform colour correction, audio levelling, titling, graphics, and captioning.
- Create supporting marketing assets, teasers, social media videos, and Student Success Stories.
- Maintain organised project files, folder structures, and version control.
- Flag missing footage, audio issues, or incomplete briefs proactively.
Feedback & Revisions
- Incorporate feedback accurately and promptly.
- Track revision rounds and maintain organised versions.
- Seek clarification whenever instructions or feedback are unclear.
Systems & Processes
- Follow established post-production workflows and delivery standards.
- Use ClickUp (or similar project management software) to manage assigned tasks.
- Maintain accessible and organised project files.
- Recommend workflow, template, or documentation improvements where appropriate.
Collaboration & Communication
- Provide regular updates on progress, timelines, and potential risks.
- Participate in team check-ins and asynchronous updates.
- Maintain professional communication while working remotely with offshore teams.
Scope of Authority
The Online Editor may:
- Make editing and assembly decisions within approved briefs.
- Manage project file organisation and version control.
- Raise production issues with the Head of Production.
- Update ClickUp with task progress.
- Recommend workflow improvements.
The Online Editor may not:
- Change creative direction without approval.
- Approve or publish final content.
- Communicate directly with tutors or external stakeholders regarding creative direction.
- Commit to production schedules, budgets, or contracts.
- Perform production planning, directing, or people management duties.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in educational, documentary, or branded content.
- Strong technical expertise in DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with colour correction, audio levelling, titling, and captioning.
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management software.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work from detailed creative briefs and incorporate structured feedback.
