This is a dynamic VA role focused on execution and content management. You will be the engine of our digital presence, responsible for managing our social media channels, coordinating content, and ensuring our brand message is consistent, professional, and impactful across all platforms. You will work directly with our leadership to translate internal developmentsfrom new platform features to public service announcementsinto compelling public-facing content.
Salary:$1,200 USD per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:Manage the day-to-day scheduling and posting of content across all our social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.com.
- Content Creation & Adaptation:Draft compelling social media posts based on internal announcements, blog articles, and strategic directives. Adapt content for different platforms (e.g., turning a detailed LinkedIn post into a concise Instagram carousel).
- Website & Blog Coordination:Update our website by publishing new blog posts and case studies using our Headless CMS (Contentful/Sanity).
- Community Engagement:Monitor our social media channels for comments and questions, responding professionally or escalating them to the appropriate team member.
- Performance Monitoring:Track basic engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach) and prepare simple monthly performance reports.
- Marketing Support:Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as digital brochures, presentation decks, and newsletters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Marketing VA, or in a similar digital marketing role.
- Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills arenon-negotiable.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple content streams simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong interest in technology, cybersecurity, or digital forensics.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva.
- Experience working with a Headless CMS is a significant plus.
