Job Description

Are you an experienced architect with a passion for innovative design and a knack for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a strong background in wood frame multifamily projects If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Produce Schematic Drawings, Design Development Construction Documents, and Construction drawings, for projects ranging from residential, multifamily, Industrial, and Commercial projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structural engineers, fellow architects, and designers to develop high-quality architectural designs for various project types including industrial, commercial, and multifamily developments
  • Utilize your expertise in Revit to create detailed architectural drawings and documentation
  • Incorporate a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems, particularly in relation to wood frame multifamily construction
  • Ensure designs adhere to US codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Create detailed and accurate architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
  • Incorporate sustainable design practices and energy-efficient strategies into projects where applicable
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting design concepts and progress updates
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and visualizations to effectively communicate design intent

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture and a valid architectural license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (not including the internship) in architectural design and production, with a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your expertise
  • Proficiency in Revit software
  • Experience working on wood frame multifamily projects is essential
  • Strong attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality, and a passion for innovative design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Owns a personal computer meeting the specified technical requirements
  • Familiarity with software tools such as ArchiCAD, BIM360, SketchUp, VRay, Bluebeam, Grasshopper, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, and Lumion 3D Rendering (bonus skills)
