About Ruvimo
Ruvimo is an online tutoring platform that connects qualified educators with students for personalized remote learning. We work with students across different grades, subjects, and curricula, helping them learn through engaging and personalized 1:1 instruction.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Latin Tutor to support a Grade 7 student with foundational Latin concepts and language skills.
The first step would be a demo session, after which suitable tutors may be considered for ongoing tutoring opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct engaging, structured 1:1 online Latin lessons
- Help the student build a strong foundation in Latin basics
- Explain grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and other foundational concepts in an age-appropriate manner
- Adapt teaching methods based on the student's learning level and needs
- Create an interactive and comfortable learning environment
- Track the student's understanding and provide constructive feedback
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Latin
- Experience teaching/tutoring middle-school or Grade 7 students is preferred
- Strong understanding of foundational Latin grammar and vocabulary
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable conducting classes online
- Reliable and committed to scheduled sessions
