Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain clients Chart of Accounts (COA).
  • Record revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities through data entry.
  • Review daily bookkeeping entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
  • Reconcile income records with bank deposits.
  • Follow up on uncategorized transactions for proper classification.
  • Generate monthly financial reports for clients and internal use.
  • Perform catch-up or clean-up of financial records when needed.
  • Review payroll documents for accuracy.
  • Process and record accounts payable and receivable.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks.
  • Highly organized with a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
