Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain clients Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure proper financial organization
- Accurately record all financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Conduct regular reviews of bookkeeping entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities
- Match income records with corresponding bank deposits to maintain consistency
- Communicate via email to properly categorize and resolve uncategorized transactions
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Perform clean-up and catch-up bookkeeping to update and organize financial data
- Review payroll records and analyze details to ensure correctness
- Manage accounts payable and receivable by preparing, verifying, and recording transactions
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with accounting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks
- Structured and methodical approach to managing tasks and workflows
- Ability to work independently while handling multiple responsibilities efficiently
