Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Remittance Services Assistant attends to queries and concerns of OFWs and their beneficiaries, correspondent banks, domestic and foreign partners, local banks and the Banks internal clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Replies to queries of partners, branches, local banks, OFWs and their beneficiaries as well as the Bank's internal clients
  • Sends daily status of remittance transactions to partners
  • Sends daily SOA to partners (excel or MT950)
  • Reconciles daily the balance of Payment Order Payable-Remit against the outstanding transactions from partners
  • Provides assistance to CPU beneficiaries on how or where to claim funds
  • Sends email requests to branches for the disposition of transactions that require exception handling
  • Uploads Philhealth transactions to Philhealth's ECRS portal
  • Investigates, reconciles and resolves float items arising from CPU payment by branches and payout partners
  • Reconciles daily transactions of partners with API connectivity against their settlement accounts
  • Performs aging of transactions
  • Payment of Service Fees due to fulfillment partners
  • Assists branches, beneficiaries or remitters in tracing whereabouts or status of remittances that are not directly sent to ROD for processing
  • Remittance of eGovernment collections to government accrediting partners (SSS, Philhealth, IRemit for Pag-ibig)
  • Processing of SSS Pension and SMEC transactions
  • Return of uncredited SSS Pension and SMEC transactions within the agreed period

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a graduate of Financial Management, Accountancy, or any Business course.
  • Must be amenable to start ASAP once hired.
