The Role

Actuarial Manager - Risk Consulting Advisory Services

KPMG is currently seeking an Actuarial Manager to join our Risk Consulting Advisory Services Team within the Advisory Function; In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage your experience in the Non-Life / P&C insurance industry by managing a diverse portfolio of engagements and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across a range of projects and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

As an Actuarial Manager in the Risk Consulting Advisory Services Team, you will

Provide high quality actuarial advisory service to clients
Mentor junior actuaries
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Provide analytical support and technical guidance
Participate in the completion and auditing of loss reserve studies
Participate in development of new business through marketing and sales activities
Participate in internal audit projects
Support the audit department on client projects as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of five years of actuarial experience within the insurance industry, or consulting experience as Manager within a Big 4
A bachelor's degree in actuarial science or other suitable numerate discipline (mathematics, economics, science, etc.)
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Should be progressing through actuarial examinations and working towards associate-level accreditation with a recognized professional body (e.g., Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society, or equivalent).
The ability to effectively work on concurrent engagements
Flexibility and an enjoyment of working on challenging projects, and interacting with teams
Must be a mature, self-motivated individual who is well organized, hard-working, enthusiastic and professional
