Job Description

The successful candidate will provide engineering support to the Assets in the development and implementation of Condition Monitoring and Quality Assurance (CMQA) programs that enhance reliability, improve efficiency, and optimize the lifecycle value of PGPC's assets.

The Role

  • Performs regular collection, validation, and recording of Condition-based Monitoring (CBM) data using portable CBM tools, field installed sensors, DCS/Historian data, and/or Operations rounds data
  • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all recorded readings
  • Analyzes collected data to identify degradation trends, performance anomalies, and early warning indicators of potential failure
  • Issues Condition Alerts to Maintenance and Operations for timely verification and action
  • Develops and maintains a field-level CBM Dashboard summarizing equipment health, trend status, alerts, and reliability patterns
  • Supports equipment failure investigations by correlating abnormal readings with work orders, maintenance findings, and known failure modes; documents lessons learned and preventive actions
  • Verifies and documents that maintenance activities meet regulatory, quality, safety, reliability, and integrity standards; conducts and/or participates in regular audits and follows up on corrective actions
  • Leads the development and implementation of CMQA programs, integrates condition monitoring data into maintenance strategies, validates new tools/sensors/platforms, and prepares CMQA summary reports and Reliability Case Studies

The Individual

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline
  • With at least 5 years of relevant experience in Condition Monitoring, Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, and/or Maintenance Quality Assurance
  • Familiar with Condition Monitoring techniques such as vibration, IR thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic, and motor current analysis
  • Vibration Analysis Cat I required; Cat II preferred. Level I in at least one additional CBM technology (IR, Ultrasound, or Oil) is an advantage
  • Demonstrates precision maintenance proficiency in shaft alignment, dynamic balancing, controlled torquing, and instrument/electrical calibration, and can witness ITP hold points
  • Able to coordinate across Operations, Maintenance, QA, and Reliability Engineering, demonstrates strong safety discipline during condition data gathering and verification
  • Willing to be assigned in Mak-Ban / Bay, Laguna
