We are looking for a Reliability and Performance Management Supervisor to provide leadership and strategic direction in all aspects of thermal plant performance and asset reliability. This role works closely with station-based teams to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop plans that drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structured processes to address asset reliability issues through root cause analysis, data capture, and collaboration with technical experts.
- Provide critical input to the Risk Management Plan, anticipating reliability and non-reliability risks that may impact plant operations.
- Evaluate the reliability performance of existing equipment, establish machine lifecycle targets, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Asset Management Team to develop, maintain, and consolidate asset reliability, criticality, and condition data to support planning, maintenance, and delivery strategies.
- Develop, track, and report reliability engineering KPIs and dashboards.
- Monitor team performance, prepare performance appraisals, identify capability gaps, and recommend training and development plans.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to ensure effective and efficient execution of responsibilities.
- Enforce safety standards, rules, and proper use of safety equipment to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- PRC Engineering License is an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance of a coal or thermal power plant
- Preferred credentials: Energy Manager and Certification Program for Reliability Engineer
- Open to assignment across the Philippines, with the role initially based in Toledo, Cebu.
