The DX (Digital Transformation) Release Train Engineer will be working with several scrum teams who provide digital solutions (including analytics, automation and AI) for our stakeholders most of whom are in GBS and some groups outside of GBS. The Scrum Masters / Team Coaches are in in Cebu City, while Product Managers and Product Owners are in numerous geographies. The RTE will be instrumental in implementing the SAFe process and new ART in the DX organization. The position reports to the DX Site Process Lead.

Core Responsibilities

  • Organizes and leads the 2+ day Planning Increment (PI) planning event every 12 weeks to align teams on a shared vision and mission.
  • Tracks progress through the ART Kanban, resolves cross-team dependencies, and manages program-level risks using techniques like ROAMing.
  • Acts as the primary point of escalation for obstacles that individual teams cannot resolve on their own.
  • Hosts critical meetings such as Scrum of Scrums (Coach Sync), PO Sync, ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops.
  • Drives relentless improvement by utilizing flow metrics (e.g., flow predictability, flow time) to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Coaches Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Leaders in Lean-Agile Mindsets and SAFe practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • High emotional intelligence, servant leadership, active listening, negotiation, and the ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Deep expertise in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Proficiency in Agile management software like Service Now, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or Engineering is preferred.

  • To ensure the backlog is prioritized and aligned with strategy.
  • To ensure technical feasibility and architectural integrity.
  • To provide transparency on progress and coordinate economic decision-making.
