Relationship Manager - Taiwanese Corporates

Corporate Banking | Singapore

Our client is an established Taiwanese bank with a growing Corporate Banking franchise in Singapore. As part of its continued expansion, the bank is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to develop and manage relationships with Taiwanese corporate clients operating across Singapore and the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for banking professionals who possess strong Taiwanese corporate client relationships and are looking to join a stable platform with a long-term commitment to serving the Taiwanese business community in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and deepen relationships with Taiwanese corporate clients based in Singapore and across the region
    Originate new-to-bank business opportunities and grow existing client portfolios
  • Market a full suite of corporate banking products and solutions, including:
  • Working Capital Financing
  • Trade Finance
  • Treasury & Foreign Exchange Solutions
  • Cash Management
  • Structured Financing Solutions
  • Work closely with Credit, Product and Operations teams to deliver tailored banking solutions
  • Monitor client performance, industry developments and emerging business opportunities
  • Prepare credit proposals and support portfolio management activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience
  • Proven experience managing Taiwanese corporate clients
  • Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including lending, trade finance and treasury solutions
  • Demonstrated business development and relationship management capabilities
  • Experience working with mid-sized corporates, large local corporates or multinational corporations would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin would be advantageous as the role involves regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients and overseas stakeholders, including the review and discussion of business, financial and credit-related documentation where such communication is conducted in Mandarin.
