Job Description

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited - Manila Branch has a full commercial banking license and has been in operations since 2002. The Manila Branch's mission is to be the bridge between Chinese and Philippine trade and investments through corporate banking, personal banking, and financial markets services, facilitating Chinese investments in key sectors of the fast growing Philippine economy, investing in a Renminbi (RMB) transfer system to encourage the settlement of payments in RMB.

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited - Manila Branch is currently searching for a Relationship Manager who will ensure growth of the business, effective relationship management and excellent customer service.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be in charge of:

Strategy

  • Promote RMB products and services to institutional clients such as but not limited to banks, insurance companies, government institutions and other non-bank financial institutions
  • Promote RMB as one major settlement currency of local banks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Philippine RMB Trading Community and the participating banks of the RMB Clearing Bank
  • Identify and develop new business relationships with potential members for the Philippine RMB Trading Community
  • Promote bond investment channel and cross-border payment system to institutional clients Financial

Financial

  • Grow deposit base and balances of financial institutions and non bank financial institution clients including maintaining relationship with local agencies
  • Grow the transaction fee income of Institutional Banking clients
  • Grow the FX and RMB related fee
  • Grow FX income sales and counterparts

Processes

  • Oversee KYC initiatives
  • Supervise account opening
  • Control and monitor AML and compliance risk of banks
