Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Reinsurance Treaty Technician:

Manage treaty technical matters from placement through accounting and settlement.
Interpret treaty wordings, coverages, exclusions, and contractual limits.
Validate treaty documentation, endorsements, and contract records.
Process technical accounts, premium billings, and statements of account.
Administer treaty claims in accordance with treaty terms and conditions.
Monitor outstanding reserves and support reconciliation activities.
Coordinate with clients, reinsurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Support reporting, audit requirements, and process improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Successful Candidate:

Mandatory experience in reinsurance treaty operations, treaty accounting, or treaty claims.
Background with a reinsurance broker, reinsurer, or insurance company handling reinsurance portfolios.
Strong understanding of treaty reinsurance concepts and contract wordings.
Experience reviewing and processing treaty accounts and claims.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
