Process and manage all permits, licenses, clearances, registrations, and regulatory authorizations related to importation, distribution, manufacturing, and retail operations across business units and corporate functions.
Prepare, review, and submit product registration and permit applications to relevant health and regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance to secure approvals.
Monitor, set, and manage timelines for regulatory applications, including variations and renewals, and conduct regular follow-ups with government agencies to ensure timely release of approvals.
Act as the in-house licensed pharmacist for assigned warehouses and/or stores, as required by BFAD/FDA regulations.
Process and maintain License to Operate (LTO) applications for warehouses, retail outlets, food manufacturing sites, and corporate entities, including LTOs as importer and distributor of food, food supplements, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, household hazardous products, and pet food.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain required documents, product labels/markings, formulations, processes, and methods necessary for importation and distribution across all product categories.
Conduct daily warehouse compliance audits in accordance with BFAD/FDA, BAI, and other applicable regulatory standards (Food Service, Meat Processing, Bakery, and related sections).
Assist warehouses and stores during regulatory compliance audits, inspections, and site visits by government officers, ensuring readiness of documentation, facilities, and operational practices.
Liaise with regulatory authorities such as the Bureau of Food and Drugs (FDA), Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Bureau of Product Standards (BPS), and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Coordinate closely with Warehouse and Store Managers regarding product registration, compliance requirements, and regulatory concerns.
Update management and business unit leaders on new memoranda, guidelines, rulings, and regulatory changes affecting importation, distribution, manufacturing, and retail activities.
Responsible to stay current with regulatory developments and best practices.
Establish, maintain, and continuously update a centralized tracking and monitoring system for all licenses, permits, clearances, and registrations for regulatory reference.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management in line with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy and/or related field
Registered Pharmacist (required)
At least 23 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in retail, FMCG, or import/export
Strong knowledge of FDA/BFAD, BAI, and DTI regulations
Excellent coordination, documentation, and compliance skills
Willing to do fieldwork: Makati - Southgate, Paranaque, area
