A well-establish renewable energy firm in Makati City is seeking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist as part of its expansion locally.
Work set up: Permanent and full time
Monday to Friday usual dayshift schedule
Job Description
-responsible for securing, maintaining, and renewing all government permits, licenses, and regulatory clearances required for the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects.
-The role requires deep familiarity with Philippine energy and environmental regulatory frameworks, strong interagency coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple permitting workstreams simultaneously across diverse project sites.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Education:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or currently enrolled in a law program is an advantage.
• Relevant post-graduate training in environmental law, energy regulation, or project development is a plus.
• Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, environmental management, or government relations, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or extractive industries.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with Philippine regulatory agencies (DOE, DENREMB, ERC, NGCP, LGU, NCIP).
• Prior exposure to renewable energy project development is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Philippine environmental laws (PD 1586, RA 9003, RA 9275, RA 7942), energy regulations (RA 9513, RA 9136, RA 11285), and local government permitting processes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with NGCP interconnection procedures, ERC market participation rules, and DOE GEA compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with document management systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills; able to distill complex regulatory issues into concise management communications.
