Job Description
- Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and circulars issued by BSP, SEC, AMLC, NPC, and other regulators
- Coordinate regulatory filings, reports, and submissions accurately and on time
- Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies
- Support the development, implementation, and review of internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Assist in regulatory examinations, audits, and compliance reviews
- Track regulatory issues, compliance gaps, and remediation plans
- Support corporate governance initiatives, including board and committee requirements
- Provide regulatory guidance and compliance advice to internal stakeholders
- Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance records
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
- At least 24 years of experience in regulatory compliance, governance, or risk management (preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services)
- Strong working knowledge of BSP, SEC, AMLA, and NPC regulations
- Experience in regulatory reporting and dealing with regulators is highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
