Job Description

Work set-up: Hybrid (3x a month onsite)

Location: BGC, Taguig

Work schedule: Night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Review new and revised global chemical regulatory requirements and determine which data, phrases, rules and templates should be delivered and developed in the SAP EHS system for SDS authoring and product regulatory evaluations.
  • Analyze and define regulatory requirements to be implemented in SDS Authoring Software (including testing) [transcribing regulatory requirements into technical write-ups for system development and ensuring the correct output]
  • Work with software developers to ensure requirements are clear and efficient and that solutions fit the existing data model and regulatory logic.
  • Work with customer service team to help troubleshoot customer helpdesk tickets

Job Functions:

  • Work with Research and other analysts to analyze global chemical regulatory requirements (focusing on SDS requirements)
  • Compile all relevant regulatory requirements and write technical specifications
  • Determine regulatory requirements and industry best practices to be implemented in SDS authoring software
  • Testing the outcome of printed SDS generated by the software (SAP)
  • Work with regulatory content, product teams and engineering teams (cross-departmental collaboration).
  • Leveraging and utilizing technology
  • Understand the relationship between regulatory requirements, data lists, rules, templates and phrases for SDS authoring & marketability purposes (for SAP environment)
  • Provide customers/clients support (or providing regulatory support to various departments at 3E by channeling the inquiries to the relevant team members as well as making decisions in helping the team to formulate the regulatory analysis when the answer falls in the grey area or it requires further in-depth regulatory/legal analysis)

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of SDS Authoring experience; expertise in chemical product safety, customer support and supplier communication
  • Experience in EHS Regulatory Compliance. SAP EHS Functional Consultant is highly desirable.
  • Safety Data Sheet authoring background
  • Excellent comprehension in reading English documents. Oral and written fluency or proficiency in English is required.
  • Excellent ability to interpret regulations into concise writing for data/ rules processing
  • Excellent analytical, research and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to meticulously examine every aspect of a regulations and how each requirement may impact product/ content development process
  • Communication: Clear and concise verbal/written communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving when encountering regulatory and/ or product/ system issues.
  • Adaptability: The capacity to adapt to new tools, technologies, and changing product requirements.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration with cross-functional teams requires a cooperative and supportive approach.
  • Time Management: Managing multiple testing timelines efficiently to meet product delivery schedules.
  • Customer-Focused: Understanding customer needs and perspectives to ensure the product meets their expectations.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry standards.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in chemical regulatory environment.
  • Chemical industry background highly preferred.
  • SAP EHS is a preferred; other SDS authoring software accepted
  • Experience with LEAN management and JIRA ticketing a plus
