Job Description

Oriental Merchants, Inc. was established in 1988 as a trading company. Later, OMI established it's export division which functions as the agent for various buyers from Europe, the US and Asia.

OMI is currently one of the most important importers and distributors of high quality Gourmet food products in demand by leading supermarkets, hotels and restaurants for quality brands from Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Italy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

FDA Compliance

  • Manage regulatory requirements for food, cosmetic, and drug products.
  • Process and renew licenses, product registrations, notifications, and import clearances.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and government agencies to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Maintain regulatory records, product registrations, and licensing documentation.
  • Support product labeling, shipment clearances, and regulatory inspections.

BPI Compliance

  • Process importer accreditations, SPS import clearances, and certificates for seed and plant products.
  • Coordinate with BPI and maintain compliance with import regulations.

BOC Compliance

  • Coordinate with brokers and internal departments for the renewal of BOC registrations.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor customs-related documentation and requirements.

General

  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Prepare reports, budgets, and documentation related to licensing and regulatory affairs.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and public hearings with government agencies as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with valid PRC License.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience as an FDA regulatory officer.
  • Knowledgeable with FDA, BPI & BOC regulatory compliances.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Office.
  • Willing to work in Muntinlupa City.
