Job Description

About Us

We are an online mental health platform committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care. Our focus is on offering therapeutic support and guidance rather than solely relying on diagnostic labels or extensive psych assessments. We value empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to foster long-term well-being for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Therapeutic Services: Offer one-on-one or group therapy sessions that prioritize the client's emotional needs and goals rather than focusing heavily on diagnostic labels.
  • Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with clients to develop personalized plans tailored to their individual challenges and growth objectives.
  • Write Mental Health Certificates (as Needed): Issue appropriate certificates or documentation for clients, in line with ethical and professional guidelines.
  • Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed, accurate, and confidential case notes using best practices and relevant data protection standards.
  • Foster a Supportive Environment: Create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space that encourages open communication and active participation.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on current therapeutic approaches, attend relevant training or workshops, and maintain licensure requirements.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other mental health professionals, counselors, or relevant stakeholders to ensure holistic care for clients.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Psychology (or higher), from a recognized institution.
  • Valid PRC License as a Registered Psychologist in the Philippines.
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy or counseling services with a focus on client growth rather than diagnostics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong empathy and active listening abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We're Looking For

  • Someone who genuinely values empathy and client empowerment over purely diagnostic approaches.
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, or groups if applicable.
  • Willingness to avoid extensive psych assessments unless absolutely necessary, focusing instead on building rapport and facilitating positive change.
  • Organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation (including the occasional medical certificate).

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact without the pressure of heavy diagnostic duties or psychometric evaluations.
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment that respects your professional judgment and therapeutic approach.
  • Chance to shape an innovative mental health practice that prioritizes relationship-building and holistic well-being.
