Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Registered Pharmacist role based in Mandaluyong. The Registered Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, verify prescriptions for completeness and safety, and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Reviewing patient medication profiles, checking for drug interactions, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and clinic policies.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels and expirations, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate and safe medication supplies.
- Maintaining accurate records, supporting medication safety initiatives, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and assisting in patient education programs and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Valid license and registration as a Pharmacist in the Philippines; Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent, with completion of required board examinations.
- Solid knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, dosage calculations, and drug interactions, with a strong commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.
- Experience in community or clinical pharmacy settings, preferably in outpatient or clinic environments is an advantage.
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification, dispensing, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy or clinic information systems, electronic medical records, and basic office software
- Willingness to work on-site in Mandaluyong
