Job Description

A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, administering treatments and medications, maintaining precise clinical documentation, and coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive nursing care across direct and indirect interventions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Patient Monitoring and Assessment

  • Monitor patient conditions regularly to detect changes in health status.
  • Assess patient needs to ensure individualized and appropriate care.
  • Report and document symptoms and any significant changes in patient conditions.

2. Medication and Treatment Administration

  • Administer medications, including non-intravenous treatments, safely and accurately.
  • Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
  • Prescribe and manage assistive medical devices and related therapies as needed.

3. Clinical Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records and clinical reports.
  • Record patient vital signs and other critical medical information.
  • Ensure proper documentation of treatment plans and care outcomes.

4. Diagnostic and Medical Testing

  • Order and coordinate medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
  • Follow up on test results and incorporate findings into patient care plans.

5. Nursing Care Planning and Evaluation

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Modify treatment and care plans based on patient response and clinical judgement.
  • Participate in patient rounds and case discussions to enhance care coordination.

6. Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively within the care team to ensure continuity and quality of service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Professional Licensure issued by the appropriate regulatory body.
  • IV Therapy (IVT) Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in nursing; experience in aesthetic dermatology is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong patient-centered approach.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused healthcare setting.
