The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
- Provide emergency and palliative care and treatment to all employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility in the absence of the company physician. This includes first- aid, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicines.
- Assess and determine health status of employee after an illness in the absence of a company physician. This includes issuance of nursing recommendations (sent home slip or back to work, referrals).
- Conduct periodic plant rounds to prevent health and safety hazard and create safety awareness among employees.
- Orient new employees to medical/ dental benefits, family planning, company rules and regulations in relation to health.
- Assess need of employee's health education.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure.
- With or without experience.
- Effective verbal and written communications.
- Able to communicate with different levels of organization and countries
- Knowledgeable in SSS, Philhealth and HMO regulations
- Computer literate in MS Office, Excel, and Power point
