The Registered Nurse (OHN) provides occupational health services in workplace settings, ensuring the health and safety of employees through medical care, health monitoring, and compliance with occupational health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Physician
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Occupational Health Nursing/Physician practice
- Preferably with BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification
- PHNAP certification and/or BLS certification preferred
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently in corporate or industrial settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical treatment to employees
- Conduct health assessments and medical triage
- Maintain accurate medical records and incident reports
- Monitor employee health conditions and workplace hazards
- Support health surveillance and occupational health programs
- Assist in implementation of workplace health and safety initiatives
- Conduct health education and wellness promotion activities
- Coordinate with company management regarding employee health concerns
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and occupational health standards
