ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Directly responsible for vendor management by ensuring O&M partners comply with contractual obligations, strictly enforcing SLA/KPI adherence for power availability and maintenance execution.
o Accountable for ensuring 100% power availability across all sites by driving proactive maintenance, rapid fault resolution, and operational efficiencies.
o Monitor and enforce preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal downtime and optimized site reliability.
o Work closely with the Tower Operations Center (TOC) to ensure real-time monitoring, proactive incident management, and strict Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) compliance.
o Conduct regular vendor performance audits and SLA reviews, ensuring penalties and incentives are applied based on compliance.
o Identify and escalate recurring failures or underperformance, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
o Ensure fuel management, refueling schedules, and energy efficiency initiatives to optimize operational costs, in collaboration with the Power/Energy team.
o Lead data-driven performance monitoring, ensuring key operational metrics are tracked, analyzed, and used for continuous improvement.
o Collaborate with the Regional Customer Operations Manager (RCOM) to align vendor performance with customer expectations and operational needs.
o Act as the primary liaison with internal teams, including finance, procurement, legal, and engineering, to align contract enforcement, dispute resolution, and vendor strategies.
o Engage with the national security team to mitigate risks related to theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access impacting power availability.
o Identify and implement process automation, cost reduction measures, and operational efficiencies to enhance maintenance execution and service delivery.
o Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, health & safety standards, andoperational policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
o 10 years of relevant experience in Telecommunications Operations & Maintenance.
o Valid driver's license.
