Reporting to: Group Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager oversees sales, collection, and customer service within a specified region. Ensures consistent revenue growth by planning, deploying, developing, and managing sales personnel, as well as identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to enhance both short-term and long-term sales and revenue growth.
Other requirements include the following:
- Effectively manages individuals/teams to optimize their productivity and engagement which includes work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management.
- Translates and implements the region's sales and collection objectives into territory targets, in alignment with senior management by ensuring that the overall sales strategy is implemented as planned, within the assigned area.
- Conducts cross-functional collaboration to influence the continuous improvement of company policies and processes, ensuring a synchronized approach to achieving region sales targets, while fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the organization.
- Builds and maintains relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and stakeholders by engaging in effective negotiations, participating in business development activities to ensure positive customer experience and support sales growth.
- Effectively conducts cycle meetings with Sales Development Officers (SDO) to identify promising opportunities and potential challenges to achieve sales revenue growth in the assigned region while ensuring alignment with standards and policies.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or any equivalent course.
- Minimum five (5) years sales operations experience with a minimum two (2) years at a managerial/supervisory level directly handling people. Experience in a similar industry is an advantage
- Strategic execution; executes the sales strategies and plans developed at a regional level; works closely with the Group Sales Manager to ensure that the overall sales strategy is effectively implemented within the region & or territory.
- Strong leadership skills with relationship-building capabilities to coach, guide and inspire sales teams towards achieving organizational goals
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey ideas, information, and strategies to the team and stakeholders.
