Reporting to: Group Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Manager for Professional Account, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities within the assigned region to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
Other requirements include the following:
- Effectively manages individuals/teams to optimize their productivity and engagement, which includes work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management.
- Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve sales objectives for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Establishes and nurtures strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and leveraging in-depth product knowledge to retain and expand business opportunities.
- Proactively identifies and explores new opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to drive sales growth and maintain a competitive edge.
- Analyzes sales data and forecasts projections, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and refine effective sales strategies that meet market demands.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- A degree in engineering is preferred, along with relevant work experience in the construction industry.
- At least eight years of sales experience, including one year in a leadership role
- Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire team members effectively.
- Communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills to influence outcomes and achieve win-win agreements with clients and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of sales techniques, market analysis, and sales forecasting methodologies
- Ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights to inform and enhance sales strategies
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications and other sales tools for tracking customer interactions and managing sales pipelines
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
