Overview
We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager with a strong maritime background to lead operational performance and service delivery across assigned fleets.
This role is accountable for end-to-end fleet operations, vessel provisioning, and full P&L management across assigned customer portfolios. You will ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of provisions and stores, while driving profitability, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations supporting multiple vessels across assigned fleets
Own and manage full P&L performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability across assigned fleets
Lead end-to-end vessel provisioning, including planning, forecasting, and delivery execution
Coordinate with ship chandlers, suppliers, and port stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Monitor and optimize provisioning costs, budgets, and financial performance
Track and manage KPIs related to service delivery, cost efficiency, and profitability
Lead and develop a team of operations managers and support staff
Act as escalation point for operational issues affecting vessel supply and service delivery
Support customer engagements and ensure high service standards, retention, and account growth
Drive process improvements and operational standardization across fleets
Requirements
Proven experience in maritime operations, ship chandling, or vessel provisioning
Demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgeting, and financial performance management
Strong background in multi-vessel or fleet operations
Experience working with suppliers, port operations, and vessel schedules
Proven leadership experience in operations or service delivery environments
Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced, time-sensitive operations
Ability to manage both operational delivery and financial performance simultaneously
Effective communication skills with local and international stakeholders
Preferred
Experience in offshore, cruise, or marine catering operations
Exposure to supply chain or procurement in maritime environments
Familiarity with ERP systems and operational reporting tools
