How You'll Make an Impact
- Master the Import & Supply Chain: Oversee end-to-end importation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless execution from port to final delivery.
- Optimize Inventory & Demand: Align regional stock levels with market demand to eliminate stockouts, prevent costly overstocking, and keep supply predictable.
- Ensure Flawless Compliance: Navigate trade laws, customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements to keep operations smooth and risk-free.
- Drive Cost Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks, renegotiate terms, and streamline workflows to lower operational costs without sacrificing quality or delivery speed.
- Lead Strategic Partnerships: Serve as the main point of contact for customs officials, shipping lines, 3PL providers, and internal leadership to keep the supply chain running like clockwork.
What We're Looking For
Core Expertise:
- Proven Supply Chain Leadership: Strong track record in end-to-end logistics, import/export operations, and warehouse management (construction materials industry experience is a major plus).
- Trade & Customs Mastery: Deep, working knowledge of importation laws, tariff structures, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Data-Driven Operations: Hands-on experience using ERP systems, supply chain analytics tools, and modern inventory planning software to make fast, smart decisions.
- Vendor & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes vendor relationships, negotiate logistics contracts, and lead cross-functional teams.
