Job Description

The HR & Admin Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource & Admin Dept. of J&T Express, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. HR & Admin Manager generally handles employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, recruitment, employee data management, and administrative supervision.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resource
  • At least 5 years of experience as HR Supervisor/Manager with proficiency in all facets.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversees the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Forecasts manpower needs.
  • Ensures accuracy of employee database (Office Needed)
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine supervision required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, as well as, complex and/or sensitive matters.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Monitors Fixed Assets management, requests, and inventory.
  • Monitors the maintenance of the office and supervises the Utility personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • May work for long hours and be required to do fieldwork.
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the management.
