Regional Assistant Accounting Manager (Contract)

Job Title - Regional Assistant Accounting Manager (Contract)Our client is global environmental science company specialising in solutions that protect and improve the environments where people and nature interact.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of legal entities assigned which includes including entries posting, month-end closing activities, reconciliations, closing reviews for BS & P&L, accounts clean up, compliance matters, investigating transactions and ad hoc requests.
• Key support to the Accounting Team Lead in Account reconciliations standardization & other initiatives
• Proactively identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and work with the Team to implement practical solutions.
• Maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Support ERP implementations, system enhancements, and UAT activities as assigned.
• Work independently within assigned responsibilities while continuously building technical knowledge and system expertise.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; ACCA/CPA is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with legal entity management and full set accounting.
• Strong experience in month-end closing, journal entries, Balance Sheet (BS) & P&L review, reconciliations and account clean-up.
• Good knowledge of accounting controls, compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in process improvement, SOP documentation and accounting process standardisation.
• Exposure to ERP implementation, system enhancement and UAT is highly desirable.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
