About the Role:
The reference data specialist oversees how reference data that are critical to the bank's data management and reporting processes are standardized, maintained, and integrated to downstream systems. The specialist works with data owners and stewards in setting up process standards that meets the requirements of data consumers.
How you'll contribute:
- Establish frameworks, policies, guidelines and principles on the best practices of reference data management across the Bank covering various domains in Customer, Product, Risk, Finance and others
- Identify reference data requirements, gaps in existing process and process owners/SMEs
- Standardization of permissible list of values across the bank in agreement with all reference data stakeholders (business areas, MIS reporting teams, operations group, etc)

- Documentation and maintenance of reference data inventory which captures reference data owner, steward, list of values, source system, frequency of update, etc.
- Work with other data management and ITG units enterprise/solutions architect, business analysts, data quality management, data policy, and data delivery team to ensure alignment on deliverables and smooth handover of tasks until implementation
- Facilitate business requirements documentation creation by working with process owners, SMEs, and data users to agree on data standards and workflow management
What we're looking for:
- With at least 1 to 4 years of Work experience in the same field.
- Experience and deep understanding of how reference data should be setup and managed
- Knowledgeable in banking products and services and how the reference data requirements flow into MIS and reporting processes
- Knowledge in risk and financial reporting processes is a plus
