THE ROLE
The Recruiting Team Lead is responsible for leading a high-performing team of recruiters, driving hiring outcomes, and fostering a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement. This individual ensures that targets are clearly communicated, actively pursued, and that all recruitment practices remain compliant with standard guidelines and procedures.
The Recruiting Team Lead oversees day-to-day recruitment operations, addressing obstacles as needed and serving as the primary owner of recruitment reporting in their geography. They will provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership to improve team efficiency and productivity. This role requires close collaboration with sales, internal leadership, hiring managers, and the Recruiting Team Lead counterpart in Colombia to ensure alignment across all recruitment efforts. This individual reports to the Global Head of Recruitment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead, coach, and hold a team of recruiters accountable to individual and team hiring targets. This includes proactively tracking and assessing individual performance, identifying gaps, delivering timely feedback, and building action plans
- Monitor and ensure team compliance with standard recruitment processes and ATS usage
- Partner with sales and leadership to ensure compensation ranges remain market-competitive, regularly surfacing salary trends and talent availability data to inform hiring strategy
- Evaluate and assign new job orders to recruiters
- Review job descriptions, aid in enhancing recruiter understanding, and raise questions or requests for calibration to the hiring managers as needed
- Monitor candidate processing times, assist in following up on hiring manager interview schedules and feedback and provide recommendations to speed up the process
- Prepare and publish weekly recruitment reports, highlighting trends and defining action plans
- Perform calibrations with hiring managers on profile requirements as needed and regular internal assessment calibrations to ensure fairness and consistency of evaluations
- Approach the role with a continuous improvement mindset, staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices and bringing new ideas to the team and to leadership
- Stay up to date with the latest sourcing strategies, including advanced Boolean search techniques and platform enhancements (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and niche platforms across various industries).
- Provide hands-on sourcing support (strategies and initiatives) for complex or high-priority requisitions, particularly during periods of increased team workload or limited capacity.
- Maintain rapport with DOXA clients through regular updates on open requisitions, weekly reporting, and by providing expert recommendations on hiring requirement issues and applicant concerns
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in the related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Sourcing and recruitment operations, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated ability to hold team members accountable and drive results in a metrics-driven environment
- Champion quality-of-hire as a core team metric, reinforcing assessment practices that prioritize long-term retention and minimize early attrition
- Data-driven and outcome-oriented, with a strong attention to detail and follow through
- Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems
- Experience in a multi-client environment
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong organization, oral and written communication, and leadership skills
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail and numbers
- Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
