Recruitment Specialist Workforce Mobilisation

We are looking for experienced Recruitment Specialists to support a large-scale workforce mobilisation program for the Australian market.

This is a high-volume, deadline-driven recruitment role supporting the mobilisation of a large temporary workforce across multiple operational streams and locations. The role will work closely with the client's project team to source, screen, coordinate, onboard, and maintain candidate pipelines throughout the mobilisation period.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruitment channels
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing workforce requirements
• Conduct initial candidate screening and assess candidates against role requirements
• Contact candidates and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and the client/project team
• Manage candidate follow-ups and maintain engagement throughout the recruitment process
• Support onboarding activities, including documentation and compliance requirements
• Follow up outstanding candidate requirements and ensure records are kept up to date
• Assist with training administration and follow-up
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the ATS
• Track candidate progress from sourcing through mobilisation
• Prepare recruitment pipeline and workforce readiness reports
• Identify potential replacement candidates and maintain active replacement pipelines
• Escalate recruitment issues, candidate risks, and delays appropriately
• Support increased recruitment volumes during peak mobilisation periods
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling candidate and project information

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or sourcing
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume recruitment or multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills
• Experience using LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, and recruitment databases
• Experience working with an ATS such as Bullhorn, Manatal, JobAdder, Vincere, or similar
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines and time-sensitive recruitment targets
• Strong follow-up and candidate management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records
• Comfortable working independently within a remote/global team environment

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting the Australian recruitment market
• Experience in offshore staffing, BPO, or agency recruitment
• High-volume or mass recruitment experience
• Experience with workforce mobilisation or seasonal hiring programs
• Experience recruiting for government, public sector, election, events, or other large-scale workforce programs
• Experience handling compliance documentation and onboarding requirements
• Bullhorn experience
