Job Description

The People Design Junior Management Trainee supports the execution of recruitment and talent acquisition processes by providing administrative, coordination, and operational assistance to the People Development team. Reporting to the PD Head or PD Manager and working under the guidance of the PD Team Leader, the role ensures accurate documentation, efficient recruitment coordination, and compliance with established HR policies and procedures. It serves as a developmental role designed to build future HR leaders through hands-on exposure to recruitment operations and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant databases, and HR documentation
  • Monitor recruitment progress and update hiring trackers and reports
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, candidates, and HR teams to ensure timely hiring processes
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, documentation standards, and data privacy requirements
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives
  • Prepare recruitment reports, metrics, and other HR-related documentation
  • Perform other duties assigned by the PD Team Leader, PD Head, or PD Manager

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business Administration is an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Training

  • Human Resources or Talent Acquisition training is an advantage.

Certifications

  • HR-related certifications are preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR administration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Amenable to travel to business units and branches as required

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based in a corporate environment.
  • May require occasional travel for recruitment activities, branch support, career fairs, and HR initiatives.
  • May require extended working hours during peak recruitment periods.
